Gentle exercise to keep you fit
Pilates (named after its inventor) is the art of controlled movements.
If practised consistently, Pilates improves flexibility, builds strength, and develops control and endurance in the entire body. It puts emphasis on alignment, breathing, developing a strong core, and improving co-ordination and balance.
Pilates' system allows for exercises to be modified in difficulty, from beginner to advanced or any other level.
All levels of fitness are catered for and a session can be taken on a yoga mat or from a chair depending on the member’s ability
