Thinking of becoming a member?
"I paid for membership of both Meols u3a and another u3a, but now cannot afford both.
I chose Meols as the other has a very large membership while I found Meols is smaller and you get to know people.
I am in Local History and from the beginning felt welcomed as a single person. And when I attend monthly meetings there is a sense of camaraderie and community."

Not quite sure, then why don't you:
- try us first by coming to a monthly meeting. As a visitor we ask for a contribution of £1 if you stay for the speaker, refunded on joining. You can learn a lot from these meetings
- visit a group activity event, by arrangement, for one session as a taster. See our activities and groups for opportunities
If you have decided to join us and you are not in full-time employment you can:
- join at a monthly meeting where the new members table will have forms available. If you prefer not to attend the meeting or join online, you can email the Membership Secretary for help. If you can print at home you can download a membership form, print and complete it and bring it along to the meeting with your payment
- join online and pay by BACS
