On Saturday 3rd February a small group of Let’s Go members visited the Spitfire Visitor Centre - Hanger 42, a WW2 museum at Blackpool airport. We were given some very informative talks by volunteers. The museum includes three replica Spitfires and a Hawker Hurricane all currently being restored with original parts to a high standard.
Geoff couldn’t resist taking the pilots seat in a Spitfire. Most of us debated whether we would be able to get out if we did the same! A great trip
