Our guided tour will enable us to journey through over 400 years of history to reveal the secrets of the Grade 1 listed Astley Hall one of the most intriguing historic houses in the North West. Including a recently discovered priest’s hole. This surprising 3 story high building features some of the most breath-taking mid-17^th century plaster ceilings in the country and rare panelling and very fine English oak furniture. We will be able to stroll around Astley Hall’s magnificent park and gardens. We will travel to Chorley by car-sharing.
