Lancashire Conservation Studios preserves cultural heritage through expert conservation, training, design, curation, and emergency response. Supporting museums, galleries, and individuals, they care for artworks and collections, create exhibitions, and offer specialist training, while working with partners like the Harris Museum to safeguard historical treasures.

Our guided tour will be about 2 hours and includes a behind-the-scenes look at how museum objects are conserved. We will see specialist areas, learn techniques, view original documents and exhibitions, and possibly watch conservators at work. Tours include walking, standing, and access to studios, strongrooms, and digitisation facilities.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are included.
