It’s a brilliant mix of British red brick and Scandinavian stave style – this church is unlike anything else on the Liverpool skyline.

Perched on the corner of Park Lane and Cornhill. It’s steep-sloping roof, lead covered turret and multi-faceted façade gives the building an appearance similar to a cubist wedding cake.

It is a little-known gem, barely a stone’s skim away from the waters of the Mersey.

Apart from a guided tour, we will also be offered coffee/cake/ ‘Scandi’ style salmon, prawns, meatballs sandwiches and hot drinks etc.
