A welcome return of Mervyn, Chair of the u3a Douglas Valley Network. Mervyn has enjoyed a life-long interest in entertainment in its many forms. He is a member of the 'Friends of the Grand Order of Water Rats'. This time his talk is about the colourful history of the BBC, detailing why Auntie had to alter her ways due to outside influences.
