A chance to enjoy watchable old movies
The Southport Bijou opened on 2019 and operated as a not-for-profit Community Interest Company.
The Southport Bijou Cinema is located in the town centre in Post Office Avenue. They are a small independent cinema in the heart of Southport. It offers something a little different from a typical multiplex: a friendly, community-focused atmosphere, classical films, independent cinema and special arts events.
Our new Cinema Bijou group will attend a number old classical films and other events, talks, music and comedy nights the Bijou regularly put on. Events will either be in the afternoon or evening.
