Let’s Go are planning a short walk and lunch at Birkenhead Park on Tuesday 4 August.

The walk will be a gentle stroll of around one mile, mainly around the lake, so nothing too onerous. Birkenhead Park has a fascinating history and is recognised as one of the first publicly funded municipal parks in Britain. Its design also helped inspire Central Park in New York.

There may be some spaces available in cars providing you are happy to travel with small dogs, or it is possible to travel by train. We will set off around 10am
