    Members from six different u3as came together on Friday 29 May for a memorable coach trip to the famous Whit Friday Brass Band Contests in the Pennine villages of Saddleworth

    In June, eleven Lets Go members made a visit to the Burtonwood museum which is on the site of the RAF /USAF airbase in WW2 and later in the Cold War
  • Our Amazing Coast
    On a blustery day in June we had a fascinating and informative walk through the dunes and green beach area in Ainsdale. Our guide, John Dempsey is the community engagement officer for Green Sefton. He is extremely knowledgeable about our local coast

    In late April, a number of our members enjoyed a short break in Buxton arranged in collaboration with local u3as through the national u3a walking exchange. The weather was kind and the company great
  • A Walk in the Park
    Group members enjoyed a lovely, warm Spring day at Sefton Park in March at the start of the season
  • Hangar 42 Spitfire Visitor Centre
    On Saturday 3rd February a small group of Let’s Go members visited the Spitfire Visitor Centre - Hanger 42, a WW2 museum at Blackpool airport

  • White Star Liverpool
    In June 19 members took the train into Liverpool to go to one of the city’s historic pubs
  • A May Mini-break
    Ten members of Let's Go had a fabulous time in glorious weather staying at The Old Mill Hotel in Ramsbottom. Small groups did their own thing which included walking, museum and garden centre visits, lunch in the sunshine and a bus trip to Manchester
  • Mediaeval Liverpool Historic Walk
    The group has now enjoyed two walks about historic Liverpool. The walk is around the H shaped layout of the city’s first seven streets
