We have returned to the TAP and BOTTLES
The Beer Group has returned to Southport’s spiritual home for beer aficionados, the Tap and Bottles, which has a nationwide reputation and is highly rated by CAMRA. Their craft beer from small producers changes between visits, so there its always a sense of adventure about the beers on offer.
Our cicerone, Pete, is knowledgeable and researches each beer on offer. We drink a half pint from each of the pumps on the bar (or one third pint for the stronger ales) which he describes in detail. We finish with a sample of the night’s favourite.
We may also visit other establishments or festivals.
We are currently at capacity, but have a waiting list if you are interested in joining.
